Asmar Equestrian Spring 2014

We love Asmar Equestrian for its stylish appeal and not to mention the most comfortable fit- oh and the quality too!  After trying on the new line I was so impressed with its comfort and the material of this cross over line. (Fun Fact: A designer at Asmar used to work for Lululemon- no wonder we love it so much)

Here's a peak at the spring 2014 line, all of which we carry at our shop!

The Rider Jacket- This jacket is such a standout from the usual boring puffy & boxy barn jackets that make you look like an overstuffed muffin ( please throw those away.) I absolutely love the features on this jacket like the back-side bottom zip, which will accommodate your saddle as well as the arm zips, which accommodate your gloves and keep hay and water from going up the sleeves. Removable hood as well.

Pictured here in Tangerine.

Available at our store in tangerine, coal w/ pink zip and black.

$220.00

Merino Wool Sweater- if there is one thing I can't resist it's a sweater with contrasting elbow patches. This super soft and light weight sweater is perfect! Also we are loving the new spring colors like the one pictured in Caribbean. I would love to wear this over a show shirt or with skinnies- super classic.

Available in our store in Caribbean w/ tan patches, black w/ grey patches, tan w/black, royal blue w/black.

$136.00

Tempo Tech Hoodie- We already have one of these babies locked away for ourselves. Like kind of major. Water resistant fabric and an athletic stretch material make this jacket one of a kind with its super cool hood which you can wear or scrunch down for the effect pictured.

Available in black and white

$228.00

Max Compression Top- The most splendid top for a day of riding or a great top to wear to the gym. It is SO soft and has a UPF rating of 50. Great option to keep muscles warm yet keep the sweat off. I love the mix of white in the front & black in the back!

$118.00

Active Compression Top- Another great sport top with UPF 50. I really enjoyed the half zip and it features thumb holes to keep your hands warm on cold mornings.

$118.00

Convertible Long Sleeve Polo- This one is too cool, the picture shows it buttoned all the way up but that collar is actually magnetic and features a cute contrasting collar when opened. Again this is a super soft sport fabric with 50 UPF. What I love best about this one is the price.

$88

Rosie Bowsie Pony Rider Bows

Ok as I am writing this I am also crying/dying inside of cuteness. I recently found the most ADORABLE line of ribbons for the pony rider & have completely fallen in love with a set of hair ribbons (Who would have thought?)

Rosie Bowsie

As much as I want to step back into the pony ring now after seeing these, I can't... so the next best thing I can do is sell them in my shop!

The best thing about these bows is they come in three different sizes/shapes and that they are completely customizable- I really don't think any two bows are the same. You are able to pick any color your heart desires, throw an initial on it or keep it two tone, add sparkles you name it!

Sizes:
The Pony Pom $18 for the set
Ittie Bitties $20 for the set
Standards $24 for the set
Fat Boys $30 for the set

and lets take a moment of silence for the Custom Hermes bows created just for Equestri Lifestyle! (Available in the Ittie Bittie & Standard)

Rebecca Ray Designs: It's All About the Accessories!

Lets face it- the equestrian brand is not only a sport, but a lifestyle now and of course everything from boots with faux spurs (gag) and wallets with bits are popping up in department stores.

We can't get enough of equine related accessories so we brought Rebecca Ray into our store- she makes the most adorable stuff!

The Maryann Tote- This is for real the most adorable bag! Whether you choose to use it as your carry all at the barn or just to take out on errands you can't go wrong with this beauty.
Colors: brown, green, cream, navy, hot pink, orange, yellow, light brown & red

The Bit Belt- I absolutely love this belt so much! It is honestly so chic on I can't stand it. I love the mini bit that sits on the front of your waist when wearing it. Once again I will always love myself an equestrian crossover brand that I can wear out as well.

Colors: Black, dark brown, chestnut, light brown & red

The Bit Bracelet- How do you go wrong with a leather cuff and a bit- you don't. We love this classic bit cuff from Rebecca.

Colors: orange, black, brown, chestnut, navy, red, yellow, hunter green

Available with a nickel or brass bit.

Cosmetic Bag- I was so drawn to how cute this was. I think it would be great to keep even in your tack box to hold you hairnets, hair ties, sunscreen, ear plugs, etc.

Colors: Navy, hot pink, orange, green, yellow, brown, light brown and cream.

Equestri Lifestyle: Custom Show Coats 2014

Per request of a friend I am compiling a list of show coats for the 2014 show season that have NOT been overdone and are classically stylish for years to come.

Allon Equestrian USA- omg these coats are absolutely to die for. They are SO elegant and not to mention they come in about any color combinations you could dream of. This is a fully custom coat that is tailored to absolute perfection and they use super quality material so this baby will last! and you know its a good coat when a ton of professionals are riding in it.

For inquiries and ordering you can find Allon in the big red trailer starting at Thermal or visit their website/ facebook page.

Alessandro Albanese- This is the 'Technoready' show jacket and is described as elegantly sporty. I mean should I even say more other then this is Reed Kesslers only show jacket? This is worn by many many top jumper riders around the world and just has a great look and fit. A great feature is that the interior of the technoready style is the breathable net lining.

For more information visit their website.

Charles Ancona- Another beautiful coat.... this also comes in any color combos imaginable and is made with full stretch Italian fabric. This jacket is sized by Charles guaranteeing the perfect fit. I think one of the best things about this jacket is that it is machine washable and requires no ironing- so now you wont have to worry when traveling if it comes out of your suitcase completely wrinkled.

The Le Fash 'City Breech'

OMG are the only words that come to mouth when talking about the brand new 'City Breech' from Le Fash.

Many people are probably thinking yeah, yeah another pair of riding pants but STOP these pants are just over the top in not only comfort but style.

I got the opportunity to try a pair of these pants on last week and to be honest I did not want to take them off... which is usually the first thing I want to do when I get home from the barn.

Some riding pants have become so constricting and boring ( um please take those high waisted grandma pants off...) But Le Fash did such a splendid job on these. I guarantee you once you try a pair on you won't want to wear anything else.

Oh and the best part is, the barn isn't the only place they can be worn.

What you'll love: The thick waist band- not only do they fall perfectly on the hips but it is very accommodating for an Hermes belt :). The brown knee patch, which totally reminds me of a line Ralph Lauren did, and the gold rivets really add a subtle statement on these breeches. And don't worry if you are worried about the gold hardware fitting under your tall boots they are paper thin so they can accommodate any custom tall boot.

Colors: Tribeca ( Blue), Upper East Side (traditional beige), Gotham City (Black), Financial District (Grey) and Soho in the Spring (white)

Price: $298 without the gold pocket rivets/ $308 with the gold pocket rivets

All now available to order through Equestri LifeStyle Boutique. Contact: equestrilifestyle@gmail.com

Asmar Equestrian Fall 2013

Asmar Equestrian is SO Chic. Their latest Fall 2013 wardrobe is so stylish it could easily cross over to a day of shopping on Fifth Ave.

Here are some of my favorites:

Boyfriend Sweater- I mean honestly is this not the cutest sweater for fall? What is not to love about this loose fitted cable knit sweater with the contrasting elbow patches... This beautiful sweater comes in three colors: cappuccino, heather grey and natural. I don't know about you but aside from looking stunning with a pair of whites and tall boots this would also be super cute with a pair of skinnies and some smoking slippers. This is a go on my list!

Price: $288

Check it out here

Cotton Twill Show Shirt- This is yet another classic from Asmar Equestrian. Perfect for the show ring or again paired with some skinnies this blouse is a classic staple for any closet.

Price: $148

The All Weather Rider- can you say MAJOR? OMG this jacket is kind of to die for. Just imagine yourself in black riding pants, your patent leather tall boots and this beauty. And not only is it totally chic but it is totally functionable for riding. The back features a zipper that when unzipped accommodates your saddle shielding it from the rain. Not only would I wear this to ride and look so stylish but I would also totally wear this as an everyday rain coat which makes the price justifiable.

Price: $320
