EquestriLife Style Featured Rider: Demi Stiegler, Equitation Superstar

California native Demi Stiegler finished up her last junior year as one for the books. Stiegler cleaned up on the west coast circuit winning the USET Talent Search Finals-West, CPHA Junior medal, LA Junior medal and then made her way to the east coast to finish 2nd in the prestigious 2011 ASPCA Maclay finals. Now an amateur rider and finishing up her sophomore year at Texas Christian University, Stiegler will continue to dominate on her NCAA team as well as the California circuit when she returns in the summer with her new mount, Hugo.

Below Demi talks favorite brands, goals and advice for up and coming riders...

Name: Demi Stiegler
Age: 20 years old
Discipline: Show jumping-eq./hunters/jumpers
Barn: Citrus Hill Farms
Horse: Hugo
Saddle: CWD
Favorite Equestrian Brands: Grand Prix & Equifit
Best Horse Show Moment: Winning the USET and getting second at Maclay finals in 2011
Favorite Horse Show: I love Thermal because its the start of the show year and you get to ride in the big Grand Prix arena and the indoor which gives you a great feeling for those riders practicing for indoors.
Advice for upcoming riders: Don't ever give up when your struggling. Push through the tough times and I promise there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Also, the harder you work for your goal the quicker you will get there. Working hard is not only practicing on your horse but on the ground also. Having a relationship with your horse really makes a difference, you will create a bond that's in breakable.
2013 Goals: For the 2013 year I'm focusing on working with my horse Hugo to get him nice and polished for the year

2013 Show Season Fashions: Le Fash Shirts

Le Fash has some of the cutest show shirts on the market right now. What is great about the Le Fash blouse is that it can double as a shirt for the show ring or just a blouse to sport around the show in. Le Fash uses premium Egyptian cotton so every shirt is super soft. They offer a wide variety of colors and patterns as well as two different styles: The covered placket which retails for $215 and the open placket style, which runs at $195.

The covered placket style offers a more traditional tailored show shirt while the open placket has a more casual feel. Both would look great in either the show ring or stylish in a saturday morning lesson.
